Clear your environment, boost your intuition
We all have times when we suddenly realise that we have stuff everywhere. One item left on a sideboard has become a cluster. A box in the corner of the room now has a collection of oddments on top of it. That letter waiting on the table for our attention has morphed into a pile of bills, letters and random things that all need something done with them.
When this happens, your energy starts to get dull. Worse than that, you lose energy to your messy environment. You actually invest energy in ignoring the piles. Like the shields on Starship Enterprise, you have defence shields that blank out the clutter for you, but they cost you energy to run.
Your intuition needs enough of your energy – clear, bright energy – to work. Anything in your environment that slows you down, gets you down, or makes you think “ugh” every time you see it, is depleting your energy, and hence depleting you and your intuition.
Clutter is like grit in the system. It stops the flow of energy in your environment – and you. Everything gets a bit clunky, sluggish, and icky. You get clunky, sluggish and icky!
So when you’re feeling clunky, sluggish, and icky, take a look around you.
What’s around you that needs to be thrown away? Passed on to someone else? Filed? Cleaned? Put back into its home? Returned to its owner?
What step can you take today to move towards a clearer environment, a clearer energy, a clearer and more effective intuition?
